William, king of the Scots, to all the worthy men of his entire land, greeting. Let present future know me to have conceded, and by this my charter to have made firm, to the monks of Coldingham, Fishwick with all things justly pertaining to it in lands and waters, and half of Prenderguest, and the land which Swain the priest of Fishwick had in Coldingham and Lumsdaine, those lands which Swain the priest of Fishwick gave back to them and quitclaimed in the presence of the Earl Henry my father. Wherefore I will that the monks may hold the forenamed lands as freely and quitly, fully and honourably, as the charter of the Earl Henry my father bears witness and affirms. As witnesses: Ingram, bishop of Glasgow; Richard Comyn; Dolphin the chaplain; Robert de Saint-Michel; Walter de Berkeley; Hugh, my clerk; Richard the clerk. At Selkirk.
